On Tuesday September 10th we will be welcoming David McGlade the Chair of the Offa`s Dyke Association who will be making the long trek from Knighton to give us an insight into the valuable work that the association have been doing to promote the conservation and well-being of this important monument. Having recently attended the Offa`s Dyke Collaboratory symposium in Wrexham I am well aware of the vital work that is being undertaken to preserve the dyke, but also to continue to research it`s origins and construction; even today there are still sections of the dyke that have eluded discovery! All in all it promises to be a fascinating talk. CJ.
