For our next meeting on Tuesday 8th October we are delighted to welcome Catherine Rees and Mathew Jones. Their fascinating presentation will feature an illustrated talk entitled “Tracing The Lost Defences of Beaumaris”.
Catherine and Mathew, aka CR Archaeology, are a partnership who have significant experience in archaeological exploration e.g. pre-development of land usage such as at Llanfaethlu Primary School in Anglesey. This presentation will detail the work undertaken in Beaumaris to reveal evidence of the Medieval defences and town wall associated with the nearby Castle.
