Description
Limited Edition prints from our watercolours of 12 different local images. These prints are taken from our original watercolour paintings of places of interest from around Corwen and the Dee Valley. Being an archaeology group the places of interest have specific archaeological significance. Moel ty Uchaf is one of our favourites, hence it features most often, however Caer Drewyn, Nurse Gron. Moel Ty Uchaf, a neolithic cairn circle with far-reaching spectacular views of the Dee Valley. Caer drewyn is an Iron Age Hill fort which dominates the Vale of Edeirnion – reputably built by the British queen, Corwenna. Nurse Gron, above Llandrillo is set amongst a neolithic landscape which features burial cairns and field systems. “Nurse Gron” is a local landmark, visible from most of the valley. The Mounted prints are 34cm x 27cm and some slightly smaller are 29cm x 24cm. the one larger photograph of Moel Ty Uchaf is 48cm x 38cm. all are the same price.
