
Iron Age Defended Enclosure
Moel Fodig Iron Age Enclosure.
An oval ridge-top univalate enclosure measuring approximately 77m x 34m located about half a mile north of Caer Drewyn adhacenr to the A5104 Corwen-Chester road.
Excavations undertaken by Bangor University led by Raimund Karl in 2010-2011 revealed remains of at least two circular features and evidence of metal-working. The results can be found on Academia.edu PDF “Caer Drewyn and its Environs 2010-2011”)
